On Sale Now--An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe
Tickets for the return of Mr. Poe are on sale at the Museum from 10 am to 6:00 pm FRIDAY and SATURDAY. Tickets are $10.00 in advance, admission at the door is $12.00. The Museum is closed on Sundays, so advance ticket sales for Halloween night are only available through Saturday at 6:00.
This annual event celebrating Mr. Poe's works with readings and an often lively question and answer session takes place October 29-31, 8 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 pm. This year the Museum hosts Mr. Poe at the Old Stone Church in order to accomodate the increasing number of Mr. Poe's fans. Tickets can be purchased at the Museum or by calling 541.389.1813.
Historical Haunts of Downtown Bend Walk
October 29-30, 5 to 7 p.m.
The Museum will stay open late on Friday, October 29 and Saturday, October 30 for a special historic walk through downtown to see six historic buildings thought to have paranormal activity--beginning with the Museum. Visit the Museum Events page for more information.

Finding Fremont in Oregon, 1843 Join photographer Loren Irving on a photographic journey through Oregon in search of the 31 campsites of the expedition led by John C. Fremont in 1843. This 30-minute documentary brings the expedition to life through Loren's vivid photography and the words of the expeditions' journals. DVD is available for $20.00, $18.00 for members.
At the museum, you can view a special exhibit of Loren's quest to follow the trail of the Fremont Expedition of 1843-44. On display are some very special artifacts on loan from the Nevada State Museum and the U.S. Forest Service that maybe the only archaeological evidence left behind by the Expedition.
