Welcome to Our Online Store

Since 1989, The Fossil Cartel has been selling world-class jewelry, minerals, crystals, fossils, and meteorites. Featuring the largest selection in the Pacific Northwest, and stones unique to the area, we cordially invite you to visit us in downtown Portland, Oregon.

Featuring all kinds of sumptuous semi-precious gems, colorful stones, and meteorites! Earrings, rings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets, and more!
Mt. St. Helens Emerald Obsidianite
When Mt. St. Helens erupted in 1981, pulverized rock blasted out. When heated, this material fuses into a gorgeous translucent stone of a rich emerald color - Emerald Obsidianite. Identical in color to emeralds, it's a bonafide piece of Mt. St. Helens!

Oregon Opal is a unique variety of opal found in only one place in the world - Opal Butte, Ore. When faceted, Oregon Opal flashes dusky blue-violet or yellow-orange. In our free-form pendants, Oregon Opal is transparent, resembling an underwater scene.

Moldavite is the one and only gem from space! Formed by the impact of a meteorite 14.8 million years ago in the Czech Republic, it is translucent dusky green in color. Moldavite is considered one of the most powerful stones for spiritual development.

Handcrafted by our own jewelers, our gold jewelry features eye-catching, top quality gems such as Star Sapphire, Tourmaline, Oregon Sunstone, Amethyst – to name a few. Set in simple yet unusual settings.
Magnetic Hematite Jewelry
Our new best seller! These magnetic hematite strands come in 14", 21", and 36" lengths. No clasps needed! Each can be worn as a necklace, choker, bracelet or anklet. Available in many colors!

Wear a rock from outer space! Rings carved from iron meteorite; bracelets and pendants featuring small meteorites set in Sterling silver.

Quartz, amethyst, aquamarine, citrine, star ruby, sapphire, and watermelon tourmaline are only a fraction of what we carry in our store.
