Sherwood Park is located in the community of Keizer Oregon. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, its acreage is landscaped and designed to represent a peaceful, park like setting for the residents and their families. The back court yard is completely secure with walking paths, sitting areas and a beautiful garden area with a pond and fountain.
Sherwood Park was built by the Salway family in 1975, and originally operated as Sherwood Park Nursing Home. Hope Marie Salway Fredrickson has owned and operated the facility for the past 32 years. Originally designed as a 40 resident facility, the building has undergone two major renovations extending the capacity of the facility to 49 residents.
The facility hosts 22 patient rooms, including private, semi-private and four bed rooms. The 15,000 square foot facility provides amble room for privacy, dining, activities, rehabilitative services and beautician services. In addition the facility has RV Parking for out of town visitors, complete with water, sewer and electrical hook-ups.
Sherwood Park has always prided itself on being an independent family owned facility, one which operates in a manner to meet the needs of its residents, rather than the needs of a large corporate structure. Whether you're looking for a quality facility for a loved one or you're looking for a place where you can be part of a team of health care professionals, you will find it at Sherwood Park.
