Columbia Inspection (CI) was established in Portland Oregon in 1978 and is an American developed company. Well established and believing in protecting their customers interests with the highest levels of liability protection far exceeding the industries requirements. CI is approved by the US Customs Service and is licensed by state and local governments.
CI Laboratories are State Certified and maintain membership to National accreditation organizations including the American Petroleum Institute (API) and the American Society for testing and Materials (ASTM).

As we enter the new millennium, so does our commitment to quality. As we actively pursue ISO 9002 registration we also participate in quality evaluation programs established by federal, state and local governments. Furthermore, we participate in round robin evaluations along with having our own internal audits and quality performance evaluations. We encourage audits by external quality conscientious companies. We are members of ASTM, API, along with being a U.S. Customs Approved Gauger and Laboratory.
