Evergreen Machine Works, Inc. has been machining Marine hatches since 1947. Evergreen now produces high quality Marine Hatches under our own name: Evergreen Hatch Works. The Evergreen Hatch has a Strongback system that is simple to operate, with only two moving parts, and very rugged and durable. A complete inventory of parts makes our hatches very serviceable.

Evergreen uses only high quality materials to produce their hatches, all locally produced in Oregon. Our product line is available in cast aluminum. A nickel chrome plated hatch is also available. We can do custom fabrication for hatch parts, such as an air intake scoop for a fishing vessel.

A complete line of quick opening, positive locking marine hatches are available in Round, Oval, Lift-out, Hinged and with custom Coamings. Sizes range from 14, 16, 18, 20, 24, 15x24" and 15x24" hinged. Built-in T-Handle cover sizes are 15x24" oval and 15x24" hinged with a 2" diameter Center bolt.

Because we are a manual job shop, we can turn around custom orders quickly. We have a machine shop and metal fabrication living under one roof, so that orders can be fabricated and machined the same day. Evergreen Hatch Works offers QUICK TURNAROUND and HIGH QUALITY. We handle a variety of custom fabrication jobs as well; over the years, weve built custom mattress carts, trailers, and even a 70 boat cradle.
