We are serving Clackamas County, Multnomah County, Washington County, including all of Portland, Beaverton, Tualatin, Tigard, Lake Oswego, West Lin, Oregon City, Canby, Molalla, and surrounding areas.
Since 1990, our tutors have helped hundreds of students with their school- and homework, prepare for tests and dramatically improve their grades, learn effective study skills, build their self-confidence, and reach their full academic and personal potential.
A-Grade Tutorings tutoring program is highly successful because it provides individualized, one-on-one instruction in the comfort and security of your home or the tutors home, free from distractions. Tutoring sessions may also be scheduled at schools, libraries, community centers or businesses. On request, tutoring or teaching of small groups can also be scheduled. Our tutors are experienced, degreed professionals and/or state certified instructors with impeccable credentials and years of tutoring experience and a passion for teaching.
Whereas most other tutoring agencies change teachers frequently and are always trying to expand, A-Grade Tutoring has purposely stayed a small private company, with Marion Griffith, the owner and founder, doing most of the tutoring herself, with only a few other selected and highly skilled long-term teachers sharing the instruction.
We serve all levels and ages, from kindergarten through adult. Tutoring is available in all core subjects - reading, writing , mathematics, science, social studies , - as well as study skills, foreign languages, standardized test prep, assessment testing such as , GED, SAT, ACT, TOFEL , and much more.
