Schooner Creek Boat Works is now in its 31st year as a custom yacht builder. The company was started in 1977 to fill a void in producers of good quality custom sailing crafts. An earned reputation for high quality work at reasonable prices is the primary reason that Schooner Creek enjoys an enviable position in the industry. We have had the privilege of working with some of the nations best designers such as Bill Garden, Kurt Hughes, Morrelli & Melvin, Bob Perry, Carl Schumacher and Tom Wylie to name a few. We have a long history of working with wood and wood composite, as well as fiberglass cored construction and “exotic” fibers. At Schooner Creek Boat Works, traditional craftsmen’s skills are combined with advanced composite materials and the latest high-tech manufacturing methods resulting in quality yachts with exceptional strength & durability.

The yard is capable of routine maintenance to a variety of craft with two travelifts capable of weights to 70 tons. The improved outdoor work yard has room enough for over thirty yachts to receive service and bottom paint. Additionally the inside workspace can accommodate another ten for more involved projects. Last but not least is the enclosed paint bay for that perfect refinish job. Our indoor construction and repair facility can handle yachts to 80’ or more. We are located in a protected bay with over 1600 feet of dock space with water depth to 17’ at low water to serve you. The crew at Schooner Creek consists of over 30 experienced craftsmen familiar with all phases of yacht repair and construction.
