Roots & Wings Community Preschool was first established in 1995 by a small group of parents who responded to the limited early childhood opportunities offered to their children in the Rogue Valley.
This foundation still provides the inspiration for current families and staff who are devoted to providing a well-thought out learning environment for children during these critical years.
Set in the heart of Medford, Roots & Wings families also come from all surrounding areas; Central Point, Eagle Point, Gold Hill, Jacksonville, Talent, Phoenix, White City to attend our program.
Roots & Wings is an independent, non-profit preschool dedicated to providing a unique hands-on/hearts-engaged curriculum using todays best research and practices for young children. We recognize that people of all ages learn best by doing.
Our program provides age appropriate activities within a daily routine designed to expand a childs interests and build awareness of the world around them, in a well-supervised setting that encourages social play, peer interaction, wonder and discovery. Children naturally learn about art, music, numbers and science through carefully crafted classroom experiences.
