Tour des Chutes...
Sunnyside Sports' own Gary Bonacker started the Tour des Chutes in 2005 following his diagnosis with a malignant brain tumor. Thus far TdC has raised over $200,000 for the Lance Armstrong Foundation and local cancer agencies.Thanks again to the 1000 cyclists who came out to to ride in this year's ride. We're shooting to make 2010 bigger and better so stay tuned!

Hi, I am Don Leet an owner of Sunnyside Sports. I love cyclo cross racing, mountain and road riding and Nordic Skiing. I also love my sweetheart for over 35 years, Kathy. I started doing a blog because Susan (one of my business partners) told me to. Now I do it because I like to. Please enjoy.

Help us kick of the National Cyclocross Championships with an evening with Lazer/Pedros athletes Tim Johnson, Jeremy Powers, Jamie Driscoll, Amy Dombroski, Georgia Gould, Mo Bruno-Roy, Dillon McNicholas, and Rebecca Wellonsandtheir mechanics. We'll have appetizers and Deschutes Brewery beer, and live music byWild Rye. A Q and A presentation with the riders and their mechanics will be followed by--Get this--a Wii Dance-off. Partay!

Get Your Bike Overhauled While you Won't Miss it!

Winter is complete overhaul season!

We're making a complete overhaul irresistable by knocking the price from $215 to $150. Get your bike in while the snow is flying--you won't miss it and we'll get a chance to spend some quality time withyour machine. Complete overhauls include bearing service and a Pro-Clean. We recommend these annually for regular riders, so make sure you get in and take advantageof the special. Shock services should also be added for your dirt ride.

Come in on Sunday mornings at 10:00 for a straight-ahead, basic how-to waxing clinic. These clinics take about an hour and will show you the basics of how to iron, scrape, and brush.

First-Saturday Morning Flat Tire Clinics
Join Jacob at 10:00 am on the first Saturday of every month for a hands-on lesson on fixing a flat tire. Bring your bike, and plan on spending about an hour. It's free!

St. Charles "Kids at Play" safety signs are available now!
It's a wonderful collaboration between St. Charles, Commute Options, and Bend Metro Parks and Recreation District. Buy a sign and stick it in the street when your kids are playing outside. In addition to raising awareness in motorists, the $25 price raises funds to promote children's health in Central Oregon.
