At the center of yourself is the knowledge of who you truly are and your place in the world. When in touch with this essential core, you feel whole and balanced; you enjoy the inner harmony of health and well-being.
The challenges of daily life such as stress, trauma, and illness can disrupt this inner balance. Holistic counseling offers a natural way to return to well-being by rediscovering your essential core and restoring your sense of wholeness.
Holistic counseling views the mind and body as inseparable. There is less emphasis on talking about problems and more attention given to the physical patterns of breathing, tension, and movement, that reflect your emotions, attitudes, and beliefs. Working directly at this level of experience creates deep and lasting transformation.
Helping people to develop their own tools for healthy living is a guiding principle in my practice. Holistic counseling not only relieves distress and pain, it deepens self-awareness. It enables you to better recognize your inner resources and use them to develop your own tools for healthy living.

Successful relationships depend on a commitment to be loving and deeply honest with each other at all times. The challenge all couples face is that fulfilling this commitment requires knowledge and skills that can only be gained within the relationship itself. Fortunately, most of the mistakes that bring couples to counseling can be corrected with professional guidance. In couples therapy, you become a team devoted to consciously creating the loving and satisfying relationship you both desire.
When you were born, you were already who you are, your own natural self. Soon others began to hypnotize you. Parents, siblings, teachers all began shaping you in the traditions and beliefs of your family and culture. In the beginning, you were endlessly curious and bright with wonder; everything was unknown, shining, and fascinating. This very innocence made you easily hypnotized to see yourself and others in the ways you were taught. Before long, the world became labeled and sorted into categories like good and bad, us and them, ugly and pretty, okay and not okay. Hypnotherapy can be used to break this spell allowing you to recover the magical wonder of the world as it is and freeing yourself to know who you truly are.
Nothing is more essential to life than breath. Since ancient times, breathing has been known as a powerful tool for personal transformation, but for most people it remains an untapped natural resource. Therapeutic breathwork unlocks the energy that is trapped in the suppression of feelings from past trauma and other painful events. When you are able to breathe fully and freely, you are open to your essential core. The energy that has been used to suppress feelings becomes available for healing, growth, and vitality.
