11-17-10 - Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child delivers millions of shoeboxes to needy children in over 120 countries. Horizon elementary students can partake in the shoebox event by filling a shoebox size container with items like a toothbrush, pencils, small toys, flashlight, etc. Deadline for Collection is Thursday, November 18. For more information, contact the school office.
11-08-10 Varsity Soccer Team Places Third in League The varsity soccer team won their second district game against Portland Adventist which qualified them for a 3rd place spot in the league. This is the fifth time a Horizon soccer team has advanced to State competition.
Coaches Needed for 2010-2011 Season Horizon Christian School is recruiting coaches for the 2010-11 season. Varsity basketball teams will begin practicing the end of May for the summer basketball league so coaches are needed immediately.
