The creation of a successful art glass commission involves an ongoing process of mutual inspiration and cooperation between artist and client. Whether it be the fabrication of custom designed stained glass windows and lighting, the creation of unique decorative or functional fused or slumped glass, or a one of a kind glass sculpture, I encourage my clients to participate in all stages of the design process.

During it's flowering in the middle ages, stained glass was seen as the medium through which divine light illuminated the souls of the faithful. Its beauty enhanced the experience of sanctuary from the violent world outside the medieval cathedral and, having quieted the minds of those within, conveyed meaning to a largely illiterate congregation. Since the age of enlightenment glass art has spread outside the church. Yet the qualities of light, beauty and meaning still enable it to touch the soul.
Light is a vibration. So is your mind. Glass becomes a medium of illumination when the wavelength and quality of light are altered by the artist in such a way that its perception produces a qualitative change in the viewer's state of mind. In unexpected moments of peace and tranquility one may discover the true nature of one's own awareness. I hope that my work will bring you such moments.
