Honoring Strength & Diversity in Individuals, Couples & Families
... and neither are we. Sometimes in our attempts at love we cause ourselves and others great pain. Hurtful words and deeds, abuse, violence, betrayal, and addictions. All of these can lead to loss of intimacy and connection, diminished desire and joy, and forgotten values and dreams. But it doesnt have to be this way. Life is too short to keep losing so much love!
I use a strength-based heart-centered approach to empower individuals, couples, and families in:
* Rebuilding relational trust and integrity
* Cultivating and maintaining meaningful and balanced lives

HISTORY: Shekhina is the ancient Hebrew Godess of wisdom and joy, the feminine part of Yahweh, and the light that dwells within everything. It is said that Shekhina resides at the root of the Acacia Tree, also known as the Tree of Life because it produces gum arabic, the glue that holds the world together.
DESIGN: If you look closely, you will see two faces that shape the trunk of the acacia tree, and a heart filled with all of the colors of the rainbow rising up between them and breaking open. A sliver of the moon (representing feminine energy) rests upon the upper right side of the heart, and the sun (representing masculine energy) flows between the heart and the roots. The blue rising from the roots represents healing energy.
TRANSLATION: When we choose to love, our hearts inevitably get broken open, providing opportunities for growth and healing as well as joy and passion. We cultivate a sense of harmony when we balance the masculine and feminine energies within and between us. Love is sustained when we seek compromise and acceptance of ourselves and others.
