Family owned and operated, Great NW Drivers is quite literally a family of highly experienced instructors. This ensures that we are here to serve you, number one, and to give care to each other as well. This is our chosen career, not our "job" and we all love what we do. Each time we hear of a crash which takes a life or alters one for the worse, we are saddened because we know it could have been prevented. Crashes are not accidents, and these stories only motivate us to teach as many people as we can how to be a safer, more observant driver who will not have to feel the tragic pain that hundreds of thousands of Americans must endure each year.

Whether a brand-new driver, or one with several years of experience, all can benefit from learning new skills behind-the-wheel. We believe this principal should extend to instructors as well. We continually monitor our own driving and teaching skills and techniques and update them as changes in our driving world dictate.

Going "Green"....(er)...
We've always taught crash prevention techniques AND fuel saving techniques but that's easy! They are often one and the same. For example: (this is a big one!) When you see red ahead, release the accelerator and coast. Not only does this dramatically reduce your odds of being rear-ended but saves alot of fuel as well. ALL CARS can achieve much better fuel economy if they are driven right, many can even beat the EPA ratings!
Recently, we decided to go a step further and we replaced our training vehicles with hybrids. It is important that we all do what we can to make everything we have go a little farther!
