Hello! I'm Victoria "Tori" Rose. I come into your home and restructure how you communicate with, relate to and LIVE with your K9 pet.If you live with your dog properly, setting boundaries, having good communication and a clear, correct relationship, you do not NEED formal obedience training.

In my private lessons, I teach dogs to respect people's personal space and calm themselves and look to their owners for direction, exercising self-control, even in exciting situations. This is not dog training. It is behavior modification.ThenI teach the owners how to be the leaders. Forget the old-fashioned concepts about being the "alpha" and forcing the dog to be "submissive." It's all about leadership, a quiet nurturing strength.
The best place to train your pet is in your home. (It's way better than going to dog training classes.) One basic principle of dog training is to teach the dog in a quiet, familiar environment. Later, when the dog knows how to do what you want, go practice in distracting environments. Trying to train a dog in public is counter-productive as its an over-stimulating environment. And do you know who else will learn better in a quiet, familiar environment? YOU!
I teach my students the process of how canines learn and all the principles and techniquesrequired to teach a dog anything, anytime. It'sabout a 5 hour lesson, done in two sessions.
One lesson works ordon't pay!

I do not teach my students or their dogs any mechanical behaviors. At the end of the lesson, I ask all my students: "Do you now know how to teach your dog heel, sit, down, stay, come, wait, look at me and go to bed?" and they always say "yes." They have a dog who calms himself and looks to them for direction, and they know all the principles and techniques to teach their dog anything they want.
This foundation is a MUST before attempting behavior modification for dog aggression, biting, dominance, anxiety or fearfulness. My lesson also cures common problems: barking, digging, chewing, jumping, terrorizing the cat, going crazy with guests, charging outdoors and just being plain ol demanding and pushy. If your dog runs the show in your home, we can change that almost overnight!

With good management and an understanding of, and commitment to, meeting your dog's needs (many people do not even know what a dog's needs ARE), it all falls into place.

I use modern, reward-based, dog-friendly methods, similar to those used by Victoria Stilwell on Animal Planet's, "It's Me or The Dog." (They are non-forceful; I do not bully, scare or manhandle dogs. In fact, I rarely even use a leash.) These methods build a dog's confidence and maintain his spirit, enthusiasm and trust.I amin the Denver Metro area ofColoradoand do in-home dogbehavior modification and training lessons from Longmont to Colorado Springs.

Live too far away?I also teach this lesson on the phone, directing and coaching you while you work with your dog.

Sounds crazy, I know, but I have done it with dozens of students from Seattle to Los Angeles. Read my last 7 student testimonials (and if that's not enough, I can get you a lot more!) and remember:
It works ordont pay!
Step-by-Step Training Manual
Use my STEP-BY-STEP training manual to perform my lesson. (It cuts the cost in half.) It is not a book you read and then go train your dog. It is a step-by-step manual, a workbook, that guides you WHILE YOU WORK WITH YOUR DOG. It is like reading a recipe while cooking. I am here for unlimited phone assistance, and if you cannot sucessfully teach my lesson to your dog via my step-by-step manual, I will refund your money.

Sometimes you need just a little help or advice and it's not necessary to make a big production of it. I can help you in shorter lessons with housetraining, crate training, separation anxiety, "bringing home baby," stool-eating, puppy manners, new dog selection and more.

With all my training services, I guarantee your satisfaction! After the lesson, I am there for you, free of charge, for any clarification or coaching you need. I will also meet with you again, at no charge, if necessary. I want you and your dog to be successful and to be able to use what I teach you!
