Peak Project Expands to Black Butte Ranch,
Free Hot Water Heater Timers Available to First 150 Requestors
Central Electric Cooperative (CEC) expanded its Peak Project this week to include its 1,300 members in Black Butte Ranch... CEC sent letters to all Black Butte Ranch residential members on Oct. 7, inviting their participation and providing an application.
Effective October 1, 2010, the Bonneville Power Administration (the organization that funds CECs conservation incentives) will no longer offer rebates for Energy Star dishwashers. Rebates for other Energy Star appliances (clothes washers, refrigerators, & freezers) remain in effect.
Equipment Inspections Put Contractors In Field
If you see someone other than Central Electric Cooperative personnel checking out our electrical system in your neighborhood, it likely is one of our contracted safety inspectors.
Central Electric to Implement First Rate Increase Since 2001
Citing the need to increase revenues to address the rising costs of buying and delivering electricity, Central Electric Cooperative (CEC) board of directors yesterday authorized a 9.5 percent average increase in members rates effective with the utilitys October billings.
