Welcome to Midstate Electric Cooperative. Headquartered in La Pine, Oregon, Midstate Electric is a not-for-profit electric cooperative owned by its member/consumers. Serving over 18,000 consumers in four Central Oregon counties, the cooperative has provided power to residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural consumers for over 55 years.
Decisions are made locally at Midstate Electric by the directors who are also member/consumers. The directors spend a considerable amount of time keeping pace with the changes in the industry. The management at the cooperative is not only keeping pace with the changes, but is also implementing cost saving techniques while the employees provide the member/consumers with high quality service at the lowest possible cost.
