If we had a wish for your vision we would wish that the major eye threatening visual problems had pain. Unfortunately many of the major eye diseases including glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy do not have warning pain. They are all silent until significant damage has occurred. Regular eye exams are the only safety net.
