Monday, February 08, 2010 - Were remodeling! K & L Industries, Paving Contractors Launch their new website!
Having an internet presence is essential to the life of any commercial enterprise. Understanding this we launched our first website in the summer of 2006. As with any website design, upgrades are necessary to improve the quality and usefulness of the site. In an effort to serve our clients and potential clients alike, K & L industries contracted with Allaway Consulting Group to completely overhaul our website. The design is to provide our clients with greater access to the key members of our organization, highlight our work and have an overview of the services we offer. These services are paving, seal coating, striping and trucking. With an expanded photo gallery, anyone can view photos of our crew in action and our finished product. Most importantly, it is simple to navigate from one section to the next. So come on in and take a tour of our website and let us know what you think. Hide
Monday, January 04, 2010 - The Economic Stimulus is Putting Us To Work
K&L awarded bid to pave the Gresham Fairview Trail: Burnside-Springwater Section in east Multnomah County Read More
Federal Economic Recovery Spending is funding the Gresham Fairview Trail: Burnside-Springwater Section in east Multnomah County. There were eleven bidders for the Prime Contract to construct this section of the trail. The low bid went to Goodfellow Brothers Inc. of Wenatchee Washington at $1,569,252.00. After qualifying the bid, ODOT awarded the contract to them as the Prime Contractor. Among other factors, K & L Industries played a key role in getting their paving numbers in the right place to help Goodfellow Brothers, Inc. keep their numbers where they needed to be to win the contract. The paving portion of the project consists of 2500 tons of pervious and impervious hot mixed asphalt installation over several miles of the trail being constructed. Goodfellow Brothers notified K & L Industries their intention to grant the paving contract to us in early January. Thats a nice way to start the New Year! Hide
