Cloudburst Recycling provides Residential and Commercial Garbage and Recycling collection, and Drop Box service in the city of Portland. Maximum Recycling is our goal.
Established in 1975 to develop recycling collection when there was none, Cloudburst is the oldest full service recycling collection operation in the Portland area, and was one of the first in the nation to provide this type of service. We are proud of our history of environmental innovation.
We continue to advance the goal of environmental health for our community. From our early use of biodiesel and support of local small scale biodiesel production from waste cooking oil we collect, to our long time leadership in food waste collection for composting, we look for opportunities to create sustainable options.
