Lake Oswego could be a town within the U.S. state of Oregon, primarily in Clackamas County with little parts extending into neighboring Washington and Multnomah counties. Located south of Portland encompassing the Oswego Lake, the city was based in 1847 and incorporated as Oswego in the year 1910. The town was the hub of Oregon's transient iron business within the late nineteenth century and is these days an affluent suburb of Portland.
