Margies creative spirit has guided her to always be creating and have art as part of her life. She began her career as an artist at an early age, opening her own jewelry shop, The Minds Eye at just 18 years old. Throughout the years Margie has designed in all different mediums including stained glass, pottery, clay, jewelry, and photography.

But it seems she has found her muse in fused glass. It has melded all of her talents into one beautiful medium. The color, texture and volatility of glass are maximized by her deft touch and artistic eye.

Specializing in functional fused glass that integrates beauty and purpose, Margie creates platters, bowls, wall hangings, vases, garden art, light fixtures and sinks that incorporate art into every day life.
Always up for a new challenge Margie is continually testing her abilities as well as that of the glass. Most recently, she has been commissioned by local metal artisans and King Estate winery to collaborate on these projects.
She shares her talents and the medium by teaching fused glass classes out of her studio and at local schools.

Margie lives in the rural community of Lorane, Oregon with her husband of 36 years, J.P. They have three grown daughters and three grandchildren, horses and a beloved Rag Doll cat.
