S.A.T Coaching & Prep
Oak Hill School is now offering S.A.T prep and coaching sessions from 3:30 5:30 every Monday and Friday in the Boardroom until December 3rd. These classes focus on the Critical Reading and Writing sections of the college entrance exam. The class is taught by our own Allison Firestone, Lower School Teacher Aide. Allison graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelors degree in English Literature and from UC Berkeley with a Masters in Journalism. Allison is certified to teach in Oregon and has also worked as a tutor in reading, English, and mathematics.
The S.A.T. prep course costs $300 for the remaining 12 sessions. Allison will teach how to improve reading, writing, and comprehension skills as well as techniques to maximize scores and to approach the test with high confidence and determination. This class is a genuine bargain at its price, about half as much as private tutors and other local S.A.T prep courses charge. Not only will your student gain an advantage for the college admission test, they will learn valuable skills that will help them in their studies for the remainder of their time at Oak Hill School. We urge every college-bound junior and senior to take advantage of this wonderful offer.
