Our staff is carefully selected to assure more than training and credentials. Several of them have many years of tenure. They are particularly caring individuals who treat each other and the residents with dignity and respect. There is a family like atmosphere that is unique to small facilities. A visitor stated, You can sense the joy and caring. Thats what we do best.

Lawrence Convalescent Center is committed to quality as demonstrated by involvement with several quality assurance organizations that have helped us attain substantial compliance without deficiency on several of our state surveys and life safety inspections. We continuously evaluate the need for equipment that will make it easier for the staff to work safer and keep residents comfortable and safe. We are a secured facility and can accommodate residents that wander or seek to elope.

We provide free basic cable television for all residents who want it as well as activities to make life here more enjoyable. While we realize there is no place like home each resident will receive care and attention with a loving touch. Our small size helps us to achieve this; residents begin to feel at home and begin to seem like family to us. My name is Don Snow and I have been the administrator at Lawrence Convalescent Center since 2002. I have been involved in senior housing since 1998 and a licensed administrator since 1999. In addition I have been involved in health care since 1975.

Our dedicated team of healthcare professionals and our small size help us to better meet the needs of residents who reside here. Our stable staff has achieved successful state surveys that are in substantial compliance without deficiency.

Our mission is Committed to the Values of a Caring Environment. What that means is we are committed to caring for the whole person and that comes naturally to our staff. As one of our nurses so eloquently stated, LCC the name says it all Lovingly Caring Continuously.
