Welcome to St. Luke Lutheran Church
St. Luke is a 1300+ member congregation in SW Portland that seeks to be the hands and feet of the living Christ. We join 5 million other Lutherans (ELCA) in the United States in being an active sign of God's love.

We welcome all who seek a closer relationship with God. While you may come from another faith tradition, or none at all, we hope to join hands with you in ministry inside our four walls and also building relationships with those in need beyond our doors. Since our founding in 1943, special emphasis has been placed on personal spiritual growth and serving our neighbor.
Our vision statement guides our path:
Marked with the Cross of Christ, we joyfully worship as a community and pass on the faith by:

enhancing personal spiritual growth
building generational bridges

We ask God to help and guide us.
On our web site, you can learn more about our active Sunday School and Youth programs, our activities for senior members of our community, small groups for support and fellowship, a full music program that crescendos in three Sunday morning worship services, our 22% “off the top” benevolence ministry and much more.
