Food & Toy 2010 will take place the week of December 13, culminating with Delivery Day on Saturday, December 18. Throughout the week, cookies will be baked, toys will be wrapped, and food will be packed. Please mark your calendars and consider how you and your family and friends can make this part of your Christmas tradition and celebration.
How many of us find ourselves in need of a King to come and make things right? How many of us feel we are in situations that would require a miracle to change? We are the in the exact same place as Israel was 2000 years ago. We need a Christmas that leads us to encounter a God who can redeem us. We need a Christmas that allows us to worship in expectation of what is in store for us. We need a Christmas that is focused on Jesus, and like those before, we need to decide what we are going to do with him. We need to “Reclaim the Story of Christmas.”
This Christmas we invite you to join us on a journey of looking back and forward to discover what Christmas means, and could mean and how we will respond to the God who stepped into our world.
This Christmas season ask yourself and your family what it would mean for you to “Reclaim the Story.”
