hen you stay in one of the four guest units at the Hearthstone Inn, you're relaxing in the unique culture of Cannon Beach, surrounded by the craftsmanship of local artisans. The entire structure, inside and out, was built in 1982 from local materials. A weathered cedar exterior features a wraparound porch, handmade cedar doors, a roof of thick cedar shakes and a large beach-rock chimney.

Traditional rock fireplaces greet guests in each unit. Rocks were gathered from the beach by hand. The mantles are thick slabs of Douglas fir. Along with the knotty cedar for the interiors, they were cut at a local sawmill. Completing the experience are vaulted ceilings with skylights and paddle fans, rustic cabin-style decor with log four-poster beds, cozy furnishings and original art, and fully equipped kitchenettes. Comfort, seclusion and a sense of place. Enjoy eclectic meals and original, scratch-mixed cocktails at Cannon Beach Café, located adjacent to the lobby at Cannon Beach Hotel. Our guests receive a 10% discount on their meals. The units are pet friendly, if your pet is well-mannered and always under your control.

Hearthstone Inn is a block from the beach, and close to downtown. It is a smoke-free environment. Check-in at Cannon Beach Hotel three blocks south.
