To our Valued Customers:We have been hearing about the skyrocketing price of steel for some time now from many sources. Various venders like Warn Industries, Skyjacker Lift kits and Rancho Suspension Systems have all made increases to the price of their products that are sensitive to the price of steel.
China has been buying up every bit of scrap steel it can get its hands on and has purchased complete manufacturing plants from Canada and elsewhere, we are told, and have shipped them to their country for assembly to help with their ever increasing needs as they grow into a world manufacturing giant. In addition to this, we are told that there are no longer any domestic producers of spring steel.
We have received a letter from Benz Spring, the manufacturer of the LONGLEAF springs indicating that our cost for the springs are going up again as of May 1st, 2008. Note that we have not increased prices in four years.
We cannot absorb another increase and therefore must pass it on. The new pricing structure is as follows:
Complete kits for all MB, M38, CJ2A, CJ3A, & CJ3B will now be $875.00
Complete kits for all CJ5 & CJ6, '71 and earlier $900.00
Complete kits for all CJ5 & CJ6, '72 thru '75 $950.00
*We recommend an additional leaf added to the rears only for all CJ6 & CJ8s and to all CJ7s if running a hard top. We refer to these as our + (plus) springs and add an additional $55.00 to the kit price for '75 and older rigs and an additional $75.00 to the price of the '76 & later kits. Front or rear half kits are also available. Contact us for pricing.

NOTE - These springs are not designed for use with a front shackle reversal system (solid spring mount at the front bumper) as used on all M38-A1 Jeeps. Additionally, they are not designed for a "spring over" system.
