Three Gaits is located on 45 acres in the scenic Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. Riders enjoy an indoor Olympic size dressage arena and a spacious outdoor multi-use arena surrounded by large grass meadows. There are wooded trails throughout the property, which is bordered by BLM land. Horses have access to stalls, paddocks, and irrigated pastures with large run-in sheds.
For the beginner rider, Three Gaits offers lessons emphasizing basic horsemanship, safety and the fundamentals of English riding. Advanced riders work on improving their dressage or jumping skills.
Letter from Liz:
Some six years and three thousand miles distant from riding, I think often (and dream) of you, my horse Kirby and my fellow riders. I am, and always will be thankful for everything I learned from you and the friendship and love we shared during those years. Riding helped me build a strong foundation, both in terms of assuming responsibility and developing a good work ethic, and personally, with self confidence and self esteem. I learned that with a little "elbow grease" (remember Josie used to think elbow grease was a tack cleaning product?), we really can achieve almost anything. I can hardly believe I've made it all the way through college and am halfway to my MD, and living in Manhattan to boot. I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to get here without the experience and skills I gained from my years with you.
